Amber Curry is an aspiring Creative Director. She received her Bachelor of Arts degree in Design from the prestigious Fashion Institute of Design & Merchandising (FIDM) in Los Angeles. She has also studied abroad in Paris, France where she had the opportunity to absorb the culture and learn embroidery techniques at The House of Ecole Lesage. She also studied fashion and the emerging trends of Europe.
Amber has worked on independent short films as a Costume Assistant where she created and styled costumes. She has worked on the TV talk show pilot, “The Raw Word” as a Wardrobe Assistant. Recently, Amber has been working on music video’s as an Assistant Wardrobe Stylist. She worked on the Alexander Wang campaign video, and the Niykee Heaton music video with Luti-Media.
Amber just completed filming her first short fashion film, “Rise” as the Creative Director. The film explores social issues affecting young Black men in America. She wrote, cast and styled the film, which will be featured at the FIDM museum in Los Angeles.
In addition, Amber is a runway and print model. With her experience in front and behind the camera she is ready to conquer the world!
